Overview
Thread & Hue is a slow fashion brand committed to sustainability, thoughtful production, and timeless style. For their Spring Collection launch, they needed a visual campaign that could tell a cohesive story across web, social, email, and print — one that would feel as intentional as the garments themselves.
The Challenge
Thread & Hue’s challenge wasn’t just showcasing beautiful clothing — it was expressing a brand philosophy: wear fewer things, wear better things. The campaign needed to strike a balance between fashion-forward aesthetics and grounded storytelling, while aligning with their eco-conscious values and customer expectations.
My Role
was brought on to lead the creative direction and execution of the entire Spring Campaign, including:
Campaign concept and messaging
Visual direction (styling, location, tone)
Art direction for lifestyle and product photography
Design of campaign assets for email, website, and social
Template creation for future seasonal launches
Coordinating with the brand’s in-house team and photographer
Creative Approach
The theme, "Soft Strength," was inspired by the contrast between structure and flow — mirroring the silhouettes and textures of the Spring collection. Visuals featured soft natural lighting, muted earth tones, and movement-based poses that brought garments to life with authenticity and energy.
Typography was minimal and elegant, paired with generous white space and candid photography to reflect the brand’s understated aesthetic. Campaign assets were designed for both storytelling and selling — with clear CTA paths, styled product features, and a consistent visual rhythm across platforms.
Results
Spring launch email campaign had a 62% open rate and 12% click-through rate — well above industry average
Collection sold 80% of key inventory within the first two weeks
Instagram content from the campaign generated 4x more saves and shares compared to previous posts
Website conversion rate increased by 27% during the campaign period
Press-ready campaign visuals led to features in two independent fashion blogs
Created a scalable system now used by Thread & Hue for future seasonal releases
